Hsin-Hsin Tung

Dr. Hsin-Hsin Tung is a Professor in the Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering at National Taiwan University and Director of the Water Innovation, Low Carbon, and Environmental Sustainability Research Center. Her research focuses on drinking water quality, environmental microbiology, antimicrobial resistance, advanced water and wastewater treatment, and nanobubble technologies. Her work integrates microbial ecology with environmental engineering to address challenges in drinking water safety, disinfection byproduct control, biofilm management, wastewater surveillance, and sustainable water treatment. In recent years, her research has expanded to antibiotic resistance in water systems, nanobubble-based treatment technologies, and carbon sequestration. Dr. Tung has led numerous government- and industry-funded research projects and actively contributes to international collaborations and professional organizations in water and environmental engineering.
