Lily Eurwilaichitr

Dr. Lily Eurwilaichitr is Principal Researcher at the National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology
Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand, having previously served as ENTEC’s Assistant Executive Director and NSTDA’s Vice
President for International Collaboration. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK, and has built a research
career spanning microbial biotechnology, bioenergy, and industrial enzyme discovery, contributing to over 90 international
publications. Her current work supports Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy agenda, including waste-to-energy and
wastewater treatment innovation that draws on genome-scale metabolic modeling paired with AI-assisted microbial optimization. She
is Vice President of the World Federation for Culture Collections (WFCC) and founder of the ASEAN Network on Microbial Utilization
(AnMicro) and the ASEAN BCG Network, reflecting her long-standing commitment to regional scientific collaboration across the
Asia-Pacific.
