Wan-Ru Chen

Dr. Wan-Ru Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan. She received her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (minor in Chemistry) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and her M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering and B.S. in Civil Engineering from National Taiwan University. Her research focuses on environmental and analytical chemistry, including the transformation and fate of emerging contaminants such as PPCPs, PFAS, organic pollutants, and microplastics in water and soil systems, as well as method development and reaction kinetics for trace pollutants in natural and drinking waters.
