Yeek Chia Ho

Dr. Ho Y.C. holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Technology (2015) and over 15 years of academic and industry experience. She is an Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, having served as Environmental Cluster Leader and Programme Manager for the Master in Industrial Environmental Engineering. She is a Leadership Team member of the Institute of Smart & Sustainable Living (2022–2025).
Since 2025, she has been a member of MBOT’s Green Technology TTWG. She is Secretary of the IWA Specialist Group on Drinking Water Treatment and a member of the Malaysian Water Association.
Her teaching spans Environmental, Wastewater, and Water Supply Engineering. Her research focuses on the Water–Food–Energy nexus, with an H-index of 40 and 5,000+ citations. She has won Gold Medals at MTE and ITEX (2021, 2022, 2025), filed two patents, and was a Royal Academy of Engineering Innovation Fellow. She also conducts short courses on microalgae, LCA, and scientific writing.
